It was Never Pristine, It was Never Pure.
There are just some things that cannot be spoken: things that are universally experienced but kept secret and situations that are personal but must be kept silent. Was it all worth it? The pain, the sacrifice, the anguish, the suffering, the humiliation, the worries, the sleepless nights, the sweat, blood, and tears – were they worth it in the end? These are questions that I ask. These are the things I should never say.
